This Privacy Policy explains how Local Tab Workspaces (“the Product”, “we”, “I”) handles information. The Product is a local-first Chrome extension. The website and Creem store / Early Access offer are operated by LIAO XIANG, an individual indie developer based in China (legal name matching merchant onboarding).
Core tab workspace data (saved tab groups, restore settings, and related local preferences) is stored on your device using browser storage. We do not sell this data. Local use does not require an account.
If you enter an email on the Early Access waitlist form on this website, that address is sent to our form processor (FormSubmit) so we can notify you about Early Access and product updates. We do not sell waitlist emails or use them for advertising lists. Do not submit an email if you do not want us to contact you about this Product.

Cross-device sync is an optional paid feature planned for later. If you enable sync, workspace data needed for that feature may be transmitted to our sync service under your account. Local save/restore remains available without sync.
The Chrome extension named Local Tab Workspaces uses only these permissions:
chrome.storage.local on your device so data survives browser restarts.We do not request broad host permissions (such as access to all websites).
In the current extension version, while optional sync is not enabled, tab URLs and titles are not uploaded to our servers. They remain on your device in local extension storage (and in any JSON export file you choose to download).
You can export workspaces as JSON at any time from the extension, delete individual workspaces in the UI, or remove all extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data in Chrome.
The current extension build does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use waitlist or support emails for advertising lists.
